Yet another excellent record discovered via the 1234 program on pimpod.com. An Australian duo presenting a varied mix, with a touch of psychedelia on the opening track and some very fine slabs of alt pop throughout. I hear a strong Go-Betweens influence at different times, particularly on the songs sung by Lachlan. Each vocalist lends their own vibe to the numbers they sing and it all makes for a highly impressive album. Gavin Hellyer

Beautiful and magical. I lost my mum around the same time Lachlan lost his brother Zac. Could not play this album for a while after buying it, as I thought it would be too painful. It wasn't. It was cathartic. Thank you Philshine
Zac Denton was blessed with the ability to write heartrending jangle-pop songs with big-blue-sky refrains and sharp lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 20, 2018

Lachlan is easily one of the best songwriters in Australia right now. It's evident in all of his projects, and with this album in particular, just how well he can put vulnerability, loss, hope, and vivid storytelling together into an album full of 2-3 minute songs. Instrumentation and overall arrangement is also A1 - Just wish I could own this on vinyl! dominic96
